Getting here, and getting your gear ready.
Flying in
The closest airport is Kansas City International (MCI). A couple of hotels are in town, with more options about nine miles out — ask us for recommendations.
Prepping your firearm
Disassemble your firearm before you arrive. If you can, media blast parts with 100-grit red garnet or aluminum oxide first. Can't prep ahead? Ship or drop parts off early and we'll degrease and de-gas them before class to save training time.
Can't fly with your firearm?
Mail your project to us ahead of time. We'll ship it back at your cost once it's done — and if it's not finished by the end of class, we'll box it up and send it after.

FAQ
Questions people ask before signing up.
What if we don't cover something I wanted to know?
Bring a list of questions with you — it's easy to forget details in the moment. If something comes up after class, call or email us; our support doesn't stop when the class ends.
Do you offer support after training?
Yes. Reach out by phone or email any time with questions as you keep practicing — we want you to succeed with this long after the class is over.
Do I need to bring my own spray gun?
No. We have plenty of spray guns on hand for training. If you'd rather use your own, bring it and we'll help you calibrate it — or you can select an IWATA LPH80 spray gun at checkout if you'd like one provided.
Is there enough equipment for everyone in the class?
Yes, we keep enough equipment on hand for every trainee. We do recommend bringing your own spray gun if you have one, just so you can get familiar with its settings.
I can't prep my guns before I arrive — what do I do?
Ship them to us or drop them off before day one. We'll degrease and de-gas them ahead of time so training time isn't spent on prep. If you're in town early, we can also schedule time on our sandblasting equipment before the class starts.
What if I'm flying and can't bring my guns on the plane?
Mail your project to us ahead of time instead. We'll return it at the cost of return shipping, and if it isn't finished by the end of class, we'll box it up and ship it once it is.
